Tour Itinerary
Day 01 : Delhi - Haridwar
After you arrive at the Delhi Airport or the Railway Station, meet our tour representative. After a brief introduction, you will be preceded towards Haridwar by road. Once you arrive, you can check into your selected hotel.
Haridwar is located at the foothills of Shivaliks and is the entrance into God's realms. Named among the seven holiest cities according to Hindu religion, this sacred town by the mighty River Ganga is a virtual treat as well therapy for your weary souls. As legends say, the great Suryavanshi Prince Bhagirath had performed penance to salvage the souls of his ancestors who were cursed by the great sage Kapila. As the response from his austerities, the river Goddess flowed down from the locks of Lord Shiva's hair. This phenomenon blessed sixty thousand sons of King Sagara. Following the same tradition of Bhagirath, devotees and pilgrims pray for the salvation of their ancestors in the holy water of Ganga.
In the evening, you will be taken to attend a Ganga Aarti by the banks of the river at Har ki Pauri. Witness the beautiful sight where hundreds of earthen lamps float on the surface of the river. After the ceremony, get back to the hotel.

Day 02 : Haridwar – Barkot / Karsali
The next day, you can wake up to a fresh morning and have a hearty breakfast. Later, you will be taken to Barkot (Kharsali) by road which passes through Dehradun and Mussoorie. On the way, halt to enjoy the beautiful Kempty Falls. Later, continue your journey to Barkot while enjoying the lush views of the mountains.
After reaching Barkot, check into your hotel room. Later, dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay.

Day 03 : Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
After having breakfast early in the morning, start your holy yatra to the first of the Chardham destinations, Yamunotri. Barkot is the base to begin your pilgrimage to the sacred site of the River Goddess Yamuna, also the sister of Lord Yama of death. The blessings of the Goddess is aid to prevent sudden and gruesome death granting salvation to the devotee as well as ancestors. The trek is over 5 kilometers which can be covered by foot. However, horses and palki services are also available to ease the hike.
Before visiting the temple for worship, first take a dip at the Jamunabai Kund's, natural hot spring with therapeutic properties. Among the many other hot-water springs around the temple, Surya Kund is the most famous. An interesting ritual followed by pilgrims is, wrapping rice in a cloth and dipping in the water, which cooks them and devotees take them as prasad, blessings of the divine.
Also, pay obeisance to the Divya Shila, a rock pillar before entering Yamunotri temple. This revered temple was built by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur in the 19th Century. Over the years the temple was destroyed twice and rebuilt again, and yet maintains its original charm.
You can proceed with return trek back to your hotel in Barkot.

Day 04 : Barkot – Uttarkashi
The next day after breakfast, you can check out from the hotel and you will be driven to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, you can check in your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Sharing the name with Kashi, this town in Uttarakhand also shares similar legends. It is located at the banks of the Bhagirathi River. What makes it a religiously important is because the temple of Lord Vishwanath is placed here. It contains massive iron trident.
In some time, you can return to the hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 05 : Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
After breakfast early morning, you will be driven to Gangotri which is located at an altitude of approx. 3048 m. En-route stop at the Harsil village to enjoy the scenic setting of the village, snow covered Himalayas, and the Bhagirathi River.
This 18th century Gangotri Temple was built of white marble and it is located on the banks of River Bhagirathi. Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa constructed the temple and dedicated it to the River Goddess Ganga.
You can pay reverence to Kedar Ganga Sangam which is situated approx. 100 Yards from Ganga Temple. Here you get to see Kedar Ganga which flows from the Kedar Valley and meets the River Bhagirathi on its left bank.
After paying respect, you will be driven back to Uttarkashi for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed by road to Guptkashi. On the way enjoy the scenic backdrop of River Mandakini at Tilwara. After arrival in Guptkashi, you can check-in at the hotel and after rest you can proceed for Kedarnath Pre-registration.
The name Guptkashi means Hidden Benares. According to mythology, Lord Shiva stayed here hiding himself from the Pandava brothers. They were seeking to get a glimpse of Lord Shiva. The hereditary pilgrimage priests, the Kedarnath pandas live in Guptkashi even during the winter months while the temple closes for pilgrims. The deities at the Kedarnath temple pass through Guptkashi across the valley of Ukhimath to stay throughout winter.
After the tour, you can return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

In the morning of day 7, after hearty breakfast, you will be driven to Sonprayag. Later, take a local jeep to Gaurikund which serves as the base to start the trek to Kedarnath. This is the mountain adobe of Lord Shiva which is located at the height of 3584 m. If you cannot walk you can hire pony or doli. You can check with the government camps at Kedarnath. This will be followed by a warm dinner and night stay.
Kedarnath is a famous shrines and one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. This is a beautiful place which is situated against the mighty Kedarnath range. The name Kedar is an alternate name for Shiva who is the protector and the destroyer. As per the legends, the temple got its name from the epic Mahabharata era when Lord Shiva was hiding from the Pandavas. Lord Shave took the form of a bull and hid into the grounds leaving the hump on the surface.
The rest of the portion of Lord Shiva appeared at four distinct places that are now worshipped. The face at Rudranath, arms at Tungnath, his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar, and belly at Madhmaheshwar. On day 8, you can savor delicious breakfast and go for early morning darshan, before 4:45 am. You have to take bath before entering the temple for the ceremony called Abhishek. Here, you can do the rituals and take your blessings.
After visiting the temple, you can trek down to Sonprayag and drive to Rudraprayag via Guptkashi. Rudraprayag is a famous religious place which is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River. This is the confluence of Rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini.
After the tour, you can head back and check-in at the hotel at Rudraprayag. This will be followed by dinner and overnight stay.
After visiting the temple, you can trek down to Sonprayag and drive to Rudraprayag via Guptkashi. Rudraprayag is a famous religious place which is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River. This is the confluence of Rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini.

Day 09 : Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath
After breakfast at the hotel, you can check out. You will be driven to Badrinath via Joshimath. On the way you can enjoy beautiful view of the landscape. This stunning place called Badrinath is one of the Four Dhams which is one of the most famous pilgrimage place in whole of the country. It is located at an elevation of 3,133 meters. All of the sides are guarded by two mountain ranges Nar and Narayan towering Neelkanth Peak. This alluring spot was once blanketed with wild berries and through this fact the place got its name Badri van, which means, the forest of berries.
You can check into your hotel and later visit Badrinath Temple for aarti. Before visiting, you have to purify yourself by taking a bath or a dip in the Tapt Kund. This is a natural hot spring located on the banks of the river Alaknanda. The waters here are considered medicinal.
After the exploration and seeking blessings you can head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 : Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag / Birahi / Srinagar
The morning of day 10, you can head to the Taptkund for a customary bath and have a Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pind dan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). Here, the pilgrims perform rites for their ancestors on the bank of river Alaknanda.
You can later go for sightseeing tour and visit attractions like Mana Village and other temples. Later, you can visit Rudraprayag via Joshimath. After the tour you can check in at the Rudraprayag Hotel. This will be followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11 : Rudraprayag – Rishikesh
After breakfast, you will be driven to Rishikesh which is a beautiful and spiritual town. Rishikesh is located on the banks of the River Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik ranges of Himalayas. As the history unfolds, Raibhya Rishi did hard penances here, after which God appeared by the name of Hrishikesh. Thus, this holy town got its name. Besides, Rishikesh is also the birthplace of yoga.
On arrival, you will have an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax. Later, you can visit sites like Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Ram Jhula, Bharat Mandir, and Sivananda Ashram.
In the evening you can attend Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram. Bask in the serene aura of this spiritual ceremony.
After attending the aarti, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Rishikesh.
